Monty has been sleeping through the night for a couple of weeks now - YAY!!! I feel extremely lucky that he is already doing this. There is one problem though, his diaper just doesn't make it all the way through the night. I've tried both a cloth diaper (adding in an extra super soaker) and disposable diaper. I've even gone as far as putting a disposable diaper on him with a cloth diaper cover over the top of that. Nothing seems to last all the way through the night.
If he would just stay in one spot then a crib protector (on top of the sheets) would solve my problem, but he doesn't. He is always in some weird position in the crib, which is usually no where close to where I put him down. I do have a mattress protector underneath the sheet, but that doesn't help save the sheet.
I'm just getting so tired of changing his sheets everyday. Not to mention that I only have two sheets to interchange - which translates to me washing them EVERYDAY!
Anyone have any miracle cures for this?
I haven't had this problem, so unfortunately I can't offer any tested advice. But, I do remember reading somewhere that sometimes it helps to use a diaper that is one size bigger. Not sure how this would work since the diaper would be... too big for him. :) But I think the theory is that it would be designed to hold more pee. It's worth a try anyway, because you'd use the diapers eventually. What size diaper is he wearing? Probably the same as Ana, lol! She wears size 3.
