Am I Talking to My Son, Or My Dog?

This may seem like an odd post, but I have noticed lately that I talk to both Monty and the dogs in the same voice, tone and language. Nelson and Dexi, are our two dogs, and lately they get the same kind of conversation from me as Monty does. I would imagine this is the same thing that women go through when they have problems "turning off" the baby voice when the baby isn't around or when they talk to their husbands.

Isn't it funny how its hard to "turn it off"? Anyone else do this with their pets?
