Banana-Apple Baby Food

I've looked up A LOT of different recipes for baby food, and basically learned that all you have to do is cook and puree baby-friendly food, so I decided to just make up my own recipe.

I decided to take it one step further, and add rice cereal into the food. I know, not that far of a leap, but I really wanted to add some substance into the food.

Here's My Recipe fo Banana-Apple Baby Food
  •  3 Large Banana's
  • 1/3 Cup Rice Cereal (I use organic, but it's really up to you)
  • 1/2 Cup  100% Apple Juice (organic as well)
  • Water
Step 1: Peel and cut the banana's.

Step 2: Add banana's and apple juice to pan, cook on medium until a small boil starts and/or all of the banana has started to cook. Stirring constantly. Be careful not to cook it too long because the longer the banana's cook the less flavor they have.

Step 3: Add rice cereal and mixture to blender. Add water to get desired consistency based on baby's age. Blend until completely smooth.

Step 4: Pour baby food into freezable container. I like to use the Baeba Freezer Tray so that I can easily portion out the food.

Step 5: Feed your baby! You can defrost the individual portions for each meal.

Recipe makes 12 servings.
