Monty at 6 weeks old

Monty is getting such a great little personality. He smiles all the time now, its great to see him smile when I pick him up out of the crib or when I set him down to change his diaper. He has also started doing a few little things here and there. Every time I change his diaper he does what I call the "superman pose" where he puts one arm straight out and the other one back in "ready position". Matt calls it his "UFC Fighting pose"......I'll let you decide :-)

Monty is officially growing!!! He grew out of his newborn clothes a while back, and has even started to outgrow some of his 0-3 month outfits. Over the last week I've dressed him in a 3-6 month outfits and they actually fit him. It seems to be his length and/or height that is making him outgrow his outfits. If it's got feet built in, chances are he can't wear it - two piece outfits seem to be doing just fine for the time being though.

Last week I decided to weigh him because he seemed to be getting really heavy and it turns out that he was 11 lbs. 12 oz. (with clothes on) according to my parents vegetable scale.

Knock on wood - it seems like he is outgrowing his baby acne. But a little bit of cradle cap came back again this last week. His sleep habits have changed a little. I no longer get my 5 or 6 hour sleep patterns at night. Lately he only sleeps 3 to 4 hours at a time - I credit most of his new sleep pattern to him growing so much. He just constantly wants to eat. I've been trying to gauge how much he eats and its about 4 to 6 oz. at a time!
