So, there are always things that expectant mothers love, but not always love the price. So, I've started my "wish list". These are things that I may splurge and buy myself, and range anywhere from $20 to $700. The baby will be able to live a perfectly happy life without these items, but there are always a few things that mom's wish they could have.
My first item is the UPPAbaby Stroller. It is priced at $670.00, but after a lot of stroller searching this is the stroller that Matt and I picked out together as our "ideal" stroller. Our main concern with strollers was the handle-bar height. Just about every stroller is adjustable in height, however most of them start to get a little flimsy once they are fully extended. This one was very sturdy at every stage and adjustment.
The Ju-Ju Be All Diaper Bag, finding the right diaper bag is insanely hard. I've looked at a million of them, ranging from $20 to $300, and this one has impressed me the most. It's average priced at slightly over $100 but has tons of features that I love such as: a large cell phone pocket, a built in sunglass case, its completely washable, has "crum holes" that you can empty the crums in the bottom of the bag out of.....and a zillion other things.
This one isn't really a splurge, but more of a choice. I want to use G Diapers instead of the normal disposable diapers. They are a hybrid between the classic cloth diaper and a disposable diaper. They are also organic, and have great reviews and friend referrals.
I originally found this in Alexandria and feel in love with it. Its just a simple Giraffe Teether, but for some reason I find myself very attached to finding one. Every time I've checked stores for it, it has been sold out. Some day, I'll walk into the store and there it will be!
Sneaker Socks!!!! So, there is not much to say here. They are just super cute!!!!
When I was pregnant with Caleb, I so wanted a Bugaboo stroller, which is about the same price. I didn't get one cause of the price. But, I could understand you guys spending so much money on a stroller because the handle bar height issue.
ReplyDeleteThat diaper looks awesome. It also looks like you would be able to wear it cross body, which I think is the best feature of a diaper bag. You don't have to worry about it falling off of you and can concentrate on holding on to your baby :)
And I just saw that giraffe toy on Amazon.com yesterday! They had some in stock... go check it out!
i meant diaper BAG, not diaper.
ReplyDeleteWe should talk more about the G diapers. I have more to tell since I've been using them for 3 months now.
