To my surprise the visit went very well. For one, I did not pass out!!! Yay for me, although I must confess that there were no needles involved in today's visit. We had a short consultation in the beginning where I learned that toothpaste (which I still haven't gotten used to) is a normal symptom that many pregnant women experience, then I was informed that there is no solution for my distaste of toothpaste. However, she did prescribe me some anti-nausea medicine that "may" help.
On to the Ultra Sound......I know this is anticipated. It was very exciting to see the baby on the monitor, and to see the little blip that was the heartbeat. The doctor said there is no way to determine the babies heart rate at this time, but is she were to guess, she thinks its around 150 beats per minute. Matt went with me, and although he was slightly disappointed there was not 2 or more babies "in there" (the more the better he says) I could tell he was very excited. He had the same smile on his face that he had on our wedding day. Just Happy.
The pictures aren't the greatest because we had to scan them in - but who can tell what is what anyway?

I'm so glad that everything went well! Isn't it just amazing that the heart starts beating so early? I love that!
